In summer 2022 a grounded swift in our garden found a special place in my heart. I nurtured him for the day, and by evening he was strong enough to fly from my hand. Swifts spend their lives in the air, feeding, mating, and even sleeping on the wing. After my special encounter I sketched this beautiful bird from a photo I was able to take of my little foster.
The high quality giclée print of my original sketch is unmounted and comes on a backing board, protected by compostable cellophane wrap.
