This beautiful antique pewter dish by celebrated German maker Kayserzinn dates to the art nouveau period at the turn of the 20th century. The dish features the organic flowing lines and natural motifs synonymous with the art nouveau movement - in this case taking the form of lily of the valley stems, blooms and leaves. The leaves flow up the ends of the bowl to form handles, while the delicate cap-shaped flowers stud the sides and base of the piece. The piece is in generally good condition with some minor age related marks to the base of the dish. It is unpolished and in original condition, with no dents or cracks. It is clearly stamped with the makers mark and number on the base. It measures 32cm by 19cm. For more information or photographs, please get in touch.
