Another lovely piece of Kayserzinn pewter, and this one is a design I have not come across before (design number is 4315). The rim of the plate is decorated all the way round with scrolling leaves, birds and berries in relief - the flowing natural motifs so typical of the art nouveau movement of the early 20th century when this piece was manufactured. The plate itself is in used condition and does show scratching and marking across the surface (reflected in the price). However, the rim is in beautiful original condition and the plate would make a lovely display of found objects like shells, pine cones, or pebbles. Measures 25cm diameter.
